What it does
Drop an .hwpx file (saved by Hangul Office 2010 or later) and it's unpacked, its content extracted, and rebuilt as a Word .docx you can download. Before converting, a short summary shows the paragraph, table, image and character counts, and a preview lets you check the result. It's handy when you need to open or share a Hangul document with someone who only has Microsoft Word.
What carries over
Character formatting (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, font size, text color, shading, font family, super/subscript), paragraph formatting (alignment, indents, spacing, line spacing, heading/outline levels), tables (row/column merges and formatted cell paragraphs), and images embedded in the document are all mapped into the DOCX. Bullet and numbered lists are carried over in a basic form.
Limits & privacy
Structurally different elements — text boxes, equations, charts, multi-column layout, headers/footers, foot/endnotes — and fine typographic tuning (letter spacing, character width) may not be reproduced exactly, so review the result in Word. Legacy binary .hwp is not supported; save as HWPX from Hangul first. Everything runs locally — unzipping the HWPX and generating the DOCX happen in your browser, so sensitive files never leave your device and it works offline.

Which files can it convert?
The .hwpx format saved by Hangul Office 2010 and later. The legacy binary .hwp format is a completely different structure and is not supported — in Hangul, use Save As → HWPX first, then convert.
Are tables, images and formatting preserved?
Mostly yes. Character formatting (bold/italic/underline/size/color/font), paragraph formatting (alignment/indent/spacing/headings), tables including merged cells, and embedded images are carried into the DOCX.
